I called my therapy practice OliveMe Counseling because I want to help people say, “I Love Me - All of Me.”

As a second generation Korean American queer kid who grew up in the church as both the “good, easy kid” and the Golden Child, I am all too familiar with what it’s like to bury essential parts of myself so that I might be accepted (or not judged). 

Fortunately, these core parts of me didn’t die underground, but resurfaced through messy, overwhelming feelings like anxiety, shame, and resentment. I used to take these as signs of my flaws…until I realized that they were actually trying to help me by showing me there’s SO MUCH MORE to me than the MASK I put on.

Over years, I reconciled with all the things that made me be ME – like who I was, how I felt, who I loved, and what I wanted in life. It feels so good to just BREATHE.

Fast forward to today – I help people rediscover do the same by helping them:

• Grow beyond their Enneagram type that keeps them STUCK in painful patterns

• Create the life and relationships they’ve been dreaming about through the power of their emotions
