About

Hello! I’m Josie, a Korean American psychotherapist practicing in the Bay Area and New York.

Past clients have described my approach as warm and engaged. I’m here to support you and I don’t take for granted the time and resources you put toward therapy. I truly love what I do and feel grateful to have found my way to the therapist’s chair.

To me, therapy is ultimately a place where powerful personal transformation can occur.

As a client, I’ve sought out therapy to help me weather through overwhelming emotions and unexpected losses. Sometimes the journey led me to discovering a new coping skill. Sometimes I gained deeper insight or faced hard truths about myself. Overall, I’ve developed a deeper, more natural love for myself and others.

As a therapist I’ve had the privilege of walking with people of many stages of life and cultural backgrounds—from places of “stuck-ness” and chaos to places of greater hope and self-assurance. We never know exactly where the road will lead when we begin, but with therapy you know you won’t be walking the road alone.
