Do Your Work
The third of Havenly’s Immutable Laws (Our Pillars of Core Values).
At Havenly we strongly believe that a deep commitment to internal work is essential.
When healers are not working on their own triggers, hurts, traumas, biases, and issues,
we suffer and burn out,
our client’s suffer from our lack of awareness and work,
our loved ones suffer because we are not working to show up as our best selves, and
the community suffers (and ultimately fails).
Doing our own internal work is essential for those of us who have chosen Havenly to be our home. We will do hard things, face our shadows, and learn where we fail. We at Havenly commit to being continuously involved in our own therapeutic growth work/journeys so we can mitigate the impact our issues have on others in our lives.
When our issues DO impact others in our community, we commit ourselves to listening, understanding our negative impact, and engaging in repair/restorative work. We commit to having the hard conversations, knowing that this is an essential part of being a “safe haven” community.
