Triattunement
The fourth of Havenly’s Immutable Laws (Our Pillars of Core Values).
We at Havenly know that attunement is essential in creating a growing, thriving community and life. Triattunement means a close attunement to three essential areas of life:
To Yourself
We recognize that we cannot “do our own work” or “know our own worth” without attunement to ourselves. We will strive to pay close attention to our own hearts, minds, bodies, and souls. We will work on understanding ourselves, our loves, our dislikes, and who we are, and we will commit to caring for ourselves in that knowledge. No person can attune to us better than us.
We pay close attention to our needs, and work to meet them in healthy ways. We recognize that self preservation and self care/attunement is an important skill to hone and use in order to prevent burnout.
To Each Other
We commit to attunement to one another within the Havenly community, and in our lives. We recognize the importance of understanding and caring for others and building safe relationships where our loved ones and colleagues can thrive. We work to recognize our impact on others, and are committed to deeply understanding those within the community. This is an essential part of being a “safe haven” community and growing in healthy intimacy and vulnerability with one another.
To The World
Havenly commits to being attuned with the world around us. We refuse to turn away from the suffering that others are feeling in the world, or the impact that injustice has on various communities and individuals in the world.
At Haveny, we as healers do not exist within a bubble. We will not divorce ourselves from the larger culture and expect to still be able to be fully present for our clients who also exist within and are impacted by that culture (and it’s many injustices). We will do our part to understand the impact of these injustices, and commit to working in our own personal biases both internally, as a community, and externally within the larger community context. We will not be silent when we witness injustice in the world.
